In 2015, I created an installation at Southern Exposure's spring education programs' exhibition that recreated my high school bedroom within the gallery. I packed up the entire contents of my room and hired movers to transport it roughly a mile and a half to Southern Exposure. I then unpacked the boxes and arranged a version of my room that highlighted the ways in which I used and lived in my space, the way I composed my space, and my own visual sensibility. The installation remained on view for one week. Viewers were encouraged to interact with the installation and inhabit the space as their own. One visitor took a nap in my bed.
